Fleetwood Town were held to a 2-2 draw by Shrewsbury after Ismeal Kabia scored a stunning equaliser in injury time. The Cod Army had taken the lead through a Taylor Perry own goal at 40 minutes and Crispin McLean's strike on the hour. But Shrewsbury fought back with Josh Ruffels reducing the deficit on 72 minutes. Kabia then secured a share of the spoils with a screamer from 30 yards in the sixth minute of stoppage time. John Marquis had seen two headers saved as Shrewsbury enjoyed the best of a dull opening. Fleetwood hit the front when Perry turned an Ethan Ennis shot into his own net. The visitors doubled their advantage when McLean smashed home at the back post from an Ennis cross. Ruffels gave Shrewsbury hope with his close-range finish from Iwan Morgan's corner. Mal Benning and Perry were both close to a leveller before Kabia's dramatic intervention.
