The 2026/27 campaign will officially begin with the Carabao Cup First Round, which will take place between 7-9 August, following Town’s final pre-season trip to Hartlepool United.

Matt Lawlor’s side will return to pre-season training at Poolfoot on Thursday as they prepare for the start of the new season, and their first pre-season fixture at Bamber Bridge in two weeks time.
