Fleetwood Town striker Ronan Coughlan has signed a new two-year deal with the League Two club. The 30-year-old, who joined from Waterford in January 2024, has made 55 appearances for the Cod Army. He will remain at Highbury until the end of the 2027-28 season. Coughlan was the club's second top-scorer in the 2024-25 campaign before rupturing his Achilles tendon in January of that season. He returned to league action in November and managed 15 appearances, scoring twice in 2025-26. The club said the new deal reflects their belief in both the player and the long-term vision being built under the head coach.
