Fleetwood Town History
Fleetwood Town is one of England's most traditional and popular football clubs. Founded in 1997 in Fleetwood, Lancashire, the club plays its home matches at the historic Highbury Stadium and competes in the England League Two. Known as The Cod Army, it has built over a century of rich history — trophies, iconic players, and unforgettable moments. Its passionate fanbase, one of the most devoted in the country, maintains one of the fiercest local rivalries with Blackpool. Currently managed by P. Wild, Fleetwood Town continues to write new chapters in its century-old story.
