Chester FC will travel to Fleetwood Town in pre-season for a Behind Closed Doors clash. Fleetwood finished last campaign 15th in EFL League Two, 17 points off the play-offs but 22 points clear of the bottom two. Next season will be the club’s third successive season in the fourth tier after relegation followed 10 straight campaigns of League One football. The match is scheduled for July 14th. Chester FC will look to use this friendly to prepare for the upcoming season. Fleetwood Town will also be looking to get some valuable practice in before the new season starts. The Behind Closed Doors match will give both teams a chance to test their skills in a competitive setting without the pressure of a full stadium.
