Fleetwood Town Community Trust wrapped up another action-packed week of its Summer Holiday programme with a Darts Day at Poolfoot Farm, blending sport and education for young fans across the Fylde Coast. Next fixture: vs Tranmere (away, 2027-02-27) (11th in the table).
The Trust’s Summer Holiday Camps kept children active with football, multi-sport sessions, and team games. The highlight was a unique Darts Day inside the Fleetwood Town Dome, where kids from local grassroots clubs and summer camps tried their hand at Bullseye Maths. The programme, part of a growing STEM initiative with WLG, used darts to sharpen maths skills in a fun, interactive setting.
First-team players dropped by to meet the children, adding excitement and creating lasting memories. The event also had backing from the Professional Darts Corporation, JDC Junior Darts Corporation, and Winmau, with the Trust eager to expand these partnerships as its STEM and WLG programmes grow.
The Trust remains committed to offering opportunities that mix learning, participation, and positive experiences. With more summer activities planned, it continues to use sport as a tool to inspire education and bring young people together in a safe, inclusive space.
